Course Overview:
The Tactical Shotgun Level 3 course is designed to provide advanced training and skills development for individuals who have already completed the Level 2 course or possess equivalent experience. This course focuses on enhancing proficiency, tactical decision-making, and situational awareness with a shotgun in various scenarios. Participants will engage in a series of drills and exercises that simulate real-world situations, enabling them to effectively employ their shotgun for self-defense or tactical purposes.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Demonstrate advanced handling and manipulation techniques specific to tactical shotguns.
2. Apply tactical decision-making skills in dynamic scenarios.
3. Employ effective shooting techniques for close-quarters engagements.
4. Understand the legal considerations and ethical responsibilities associated with using a shotgun for self-defense.
5. Develop situational awareness and adaptability in high-stress situations.
Prerequisites:
To enroll in the Tactical Shotgun Level 3 course, participants must meet the following requirements:
1. Successful completion of the Tactical Shotgun Level 2 course or equivalent experience.
2. Possession of a reliable and functional shotgun suitable for self-defense or tactical use.
3. Proficiency in basic firearms safety rules and marksmanship fundamentals.
Required Equipment:
Participants are required to bring the following equipment to the course:
1. A reliable and functional shotgun (pump-action or semi-automatic) with a minimum capacity of five rounds.
2. A minimum of three magazines or speed loaders.
3. A sturdy belt-mounted or chest rig shotgun shell carrier capable of holding at least 25 rounds.
4. Eye and ear protection (electronic hearing protection recommended).
5. Suitable clothing (long pants, closed-toe shoes) and attire appropriate for the weather conditions.
6. Ammunition (minimum 200 rounds of birdshot, 50 rounds of buckshot, and 25 rounds of slug).
Required Ammunition:
- Ammunition: Participants should bring a minimum of 250 rounds of shotguns.
Additional Info:
Please bring your own drinks and snacks. There is no lunch break though there will be time for snacks.
