Course Overview:


The Intro to Red Dot Pistol Shooting Level 2 course is designed for individuals who have already completed the Level 1 course or have a basic understanding of red dot pistol shooting. This course aims to further develop the participants' skills and knowledge in using red dot sights on pistols. The course will cover advanced techniques, drills, and scenarios to enhance accuracy, speed, and overall proficiency with red dot-equipped pistols

 

Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Demonstrate advanced shooting techniques using red dot sights on pistols.
2. Apply proper sight acquisition and target transition techniques for increased accuracy and speed.
3. Perform various shooting drills and exercises to enhance overall shooting proficiency.
4. Understand and apply advanced concepts such as target-focused shooting and shooting on the move.
5. Identify potential challenges and troubleshoot common issues related to red dot sights on pistols.
6. Apply learned skills in practical scenarios that simulate real-life self-defense situations.


Prerequisites:

To enroll in the Intro to Red Dot Pistol Shooting Level 2 course, participants must meet the following requirements:

1. Completion of the Intro to Red Dot Pistol Shooting Level 1 course or equivalent training from a recognized firearms training institution.
2. Proficiency in safe firearm handling and operation.
3. Familiarity with basic shooting fundamentals, including grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control.
4. Prior experience with red dot sights on pistols is preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements:
To ensure a safe and effective learning environment, the following requirements must be met:

1. Participants must bring their own red dot-equipped pistol(s) and a minimum of three magazines.
2. A minimum of 400 rounds of ammunition is required for the duration of the course.
3. Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times during live-fire exercises.
4. Participants must adhere to all range safety rules and instructions provided by the instructors.
5. Participants must sign a liability waiver before the start of the course.

Additional Info:

Please bring your own drinks and snacks. There is no lunch break though there will be time for snacks.
